How to use the template

Follow these steps to get started with our client tracker template:

Step one: Add your clients

Begin by opening the client tracker template in MeisterTask. Then, input each client according to their status. For example, you may add a client under “New clients”, one “In progress” and another that simply requires a “Follow-up.” 

Step two: Assign tasks and deadlines

Use the template to add multiple tasks for each client and assign responsibilities to team members, if applicable. Add due dates to each task to keep track of important milestones and ensure timely delivery. For bigger tasks, you can also add specific checklist items.

Step three: Track progress

Once a task is completed, click “Complete Task” and move it to the "Completed" section. Then, seamlessly add new tasks to the template to progress to the next stage in your client’s workflow. This visual representation helps you see where each client stands at a glance.

Step four: Log communication

Use the comment section or add attachments in specific tasks to record relevant emails, calls and updates directly within each card. This ensures that you maintain a complete history of client interactions for reference.

Step five: Review and optimize
